WELCOME to my World of Art.

Elke Bügler began her artistic career at the start of 2023, rediscovering a passion she had held since her teenage years. She is now embracing her artistic path wholeheartedly, expressing her inner world through a dance of intention and instinct, composition and chaos.

Her work is characterised by her spontaneous and dynamic acrylic painting style, which captures fleeting emotions before they disappear. She often focuses on just one colour, which she uses in different shades to connect with the unconscious.

The result is unique pieces of work that convey a clearly deep emotional message and possess a distinct identity. Her art is her voice. She uses it to share her thoughts and feelings, inviting viewers to experience them through her eyes and intuition.

In just two years, Elke Buegler earned international recognition and built a legacy, resulting in various exhibitions taking place around the world. Nowadays, curated teams from around the world awarded her several prizes in recognition of the unique style and personality of her work, which radiate courage and authenticity.

ABOUT.

My art is my means of sharing my thoughts, experiences, concerns and emotions with viewers. I invite them to discover this through their eyes and intuition, connecting with their unconscious mind.

I am moved deeply by philosophical questions and I am interested in exploring the big questions that life throws at us. There is no such thing as black and white. Often, there is more than one answer to these questions. To me, the most interesting part of life is the unknown, unseen, and unfathomable. Modern science is now close to confirming unexpected possibilities. With an open mind and a curious approach to life’s ups and downs, I am going to express this reflection of my thoughts, experiences, concerns, and emotions through my artwork.

I invite viewers to discover their own emotional connection to the work, hoping they may reflect on this experience and its personal significance long afterward.

Usually I prefer to start with nothing but a blank canvas and a chosen main colour, selecting colours and tools intuitively as I go along. The first steps, which involve applying layer upon layer of thin paint, come from within. I am working towards achieving a clear definition and value in my work. But rather than forcing or suppressing it, I allow the work to express itself in its own way.

Following this approach with my art gives me the most freedom and fulfilment, and the most rewarding way to express myself.
